Review of the event:
On September 21, 2025, we held our (now annual) traditional NVS end-of-summer and start-of-fall event—and what a success it was!
Around 15 adults and about 10 children gathered on an amazingly dry afternoon and evening to enjoy the last warm days together.
The children took the opportunity to splash around and swim in the pool, while the adults sat together comfortably with a glass of wine and lots of delicious food. There was laughter, discussion, and a look back on a successful season.
Review of the swimming season
The 2025 swimming season was a success – the figures speak for themselves! Thanks to flexible opening hours during off-peak times and the commitment of our 12 certified supervisors, we were able to keep the pool open on a regular basis. A big thank you to everyone who helped!
The reservation system with vouchers has worked flawlessly so far. The automatic notification of an open hour also works reliably.
Review of other activities
The NVS board in particular has been committed to this event… but we are still looking for creative minds who would like to take on neighborhood activities and coordinate them on behalf of the NVS.
Outlook
We are currently looking into the possibility of early morning swimming – this should be possible despite the clash with cleaning. We are also still looking into how we could use the hall during the holidays.
Thanks
Finally, we would like to express our sincere thanks to all NVS members and helpers (and even neighbors who are not members). Without your commitment, such an event would not be possible.
